Saltgrass Success!

Winner in TMRRW Awards

In 2023 Saltgrass was the winner in the TMRRW Awards in the category of Community Champion.

The TMRRW awards are dedicated to celebrating the people and businesses who are ‘creating positive environmental and social impact and inspire others to take action’.

This award is such a testament to the community that has been the subject of the show for all these years. So many people taking action for the planet and for each other in so many ways.

The award took some time to arrive in the mail as it is made of fungus and had to have time to grow! Pretty cool.

This is what they said about Saltgrass:

Winner in Community Broadcasting Awards

In 2023 Saltgrass was the winner in the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) in the category of Best Talks.

This was a very heartwarming and meaningful award for me (Allie) as I have grown up as a sound producer at MAINfm and in the family that is community radio.

This is a photo of me (on the left) and MAINfm station manager Steph Riddel who accepted the award on my behalf at the Community Broadcasting annual conference. She also collected awards for several other MAINfm categories and shows. Go team!
